25th-27th February 2020 Sheikh Saeed Halls, Dubai World Trade Centre Denford are once again attending GESS Dubai and would like to invite you to visit us on Stand P20, where we are exhibiting as part of the British Education Engineering and Technology Export Group (BEETEG). On display will be the Denford MICROMILL PRO - a compact CNC Milling Machine, ideal for introducing CNC training into the classroom. We will also be available to discuss our full range of CAD/CAM CNC Routers, Mills, Lathes, Engravers and Design Technology/STEM Solutions. This is the 13th Edition of GESS Dubai and is free to attend for anyone working in the field of education. We are delighted to announce that Denford will be attending the 15th F1 in Schools World Finals, which is taking place at du Forum, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, from 24th to 27th November 2019. Along with a Denford CNC Router, we will be showcasing the latest range of Denford F1 in Schools Equipment, including the NEW F1 Roll out Race Track and Race System, which are ideal for testing cars – particularly where storage space is limited. Also on display will be our innovative Primary STEM Project, with Roll-Out Race Track and Launch System, which is available with free of charge Teaching Resources and Student Worksheets - an ideal introduction to F1 in Schools! F1 in Schools CPD Training Available 2019 Are you looking to take part in the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge, but need some help? Then take a look at the “Developing Skills for the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge” Course, which is running at the National STEM Centre, York, in July. You will develop the skills needed to successfully run The F1 in Schools STEM Challenge with your students and inspire them with this unique educational project, as well as developing your knowledge of computer aided design (CAD) and CNC Manufacture. Course: “Developing Skills for the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge” TY200 / B18 – 5th & 6th July 2019, at The National STEM Centre in York" The Course is certified by The National STEM Centre as official CPD and is bursary-funded. It is focused on how to design, analyse, manufacture, test and race miniature CO2 powered F1 model block cars. Event : BIG BANG FAIR SOUTH WALES 2019
The Big Bang Fair South Wales, MOD ST Athan, Vale of Glamorgan Thursday 11th April 2019 EESW / STEM Cymru is holding one of the largest events in STEM in South Wales on Thursday 11th April 2019. There will be over 80 EESW teams from across South Wales attending to display the work they have completed during their EESW Project in 2018-19. Visitors will experience the activities EESW/STEM Cymru can offer schools throughout Wales – including the exciting F1 in Schools STEM Challenge! There will also be shows and exhibits throughout the day, and Denford will again be exhibiting at the Event – demonstrating the Denford Router 2600 Pro, VLS3.50 Laser and UP BOX+ 3D Printer.
