The Track
Designed to be durable and moisture resistant, its light aluminium construction makes it easy to assemble, break down and store. The elevated track measures 23.65 meters in length, comprising 11 sections and 12 support legs and incorporating cable management.
Timing sensors are built into the finish section of the track for accurate and consistent finishing times.

Halo Deceleration System
The Halo Deceleration System is an innovative mechanism designed to safely slow down STEM Racing cars after they cross the finish line.
This system integrates a physical 'halo' structure into the car's design, echoing the driver crash-protection systems used in real Formula 1 cars. The halo features a circular notch that aligns with an arresting cable positioned in the final track section.
Upon crossing the finish line, the arresting cable engages with the halo's notch, effectively decelerating the car.
