The Denford Router 2600 and 2600 Pro are high-capacity, bench-mounted CNC routers designed for schools, colleges, universities and engineering training centres. With a generous 600 x 400 mm working area and a compact workshop footprint, they provide the flexibility to manufacture larger components or accommodate multiple fixtures simultaneously.

Suitable for machining wood, plastics, acrylics, modelling foam and other prototyping materials, the Router 2600 supports practical learning across engineering, product design and CAD/CAM. The Router 2600 Pro adds the capability to machine non-ferrous metals, alongside enhanced spindle speed control.

WHICH MODEL?

Router 2600 or Router 2600 Pro?

Both the Router 2600 and Router 2600 Pro provide a 600 x 400 mm machining area, a versatile aluminium T-slot table and the software needed to support practical CNC learning.

The standard Router 2600 is ideal for machining wood, plastics, acrylics, foam and other prototyping materials. The Router 2600 Pro adds non-ferrous metal machining capability, together with spindle speed control and spindle speed override.

Both machines can be configured with optional accessories, including a machine bench, vacuum bed, dust extraction, STEM Racing fixtures and a programmable fourth axis.

CAD/CAM software for the Router 2600

Every Router 2600 and Router 2600 Pro includes VR CNC Milling operating software and a licence for QuickCAM 2D Design, providing the tools needed to create, prepare and manufacture 2D CNC projects.

The software supports common design and manufacturing file formats, including DXF, DWG, EPS, Gerber and G&M code. QuickCAM Pro is available as an optional upgrade for importing STL files and generating toolpaths for 3D machining.

Together, these software tools help students develop practical skills in digital design, CNC programming and computer-aided manufacturing.
